Spectacular matched set of red aniline dye LCW lounge chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames and manufactured by Evans Product Company (before Herman Miller production). Aniline-dyed wood is vibrant and rich, showcasing the dramatic grain underneath. This set has wonderful matched wood selection, seen on the seats and back. Early 5-2-5 configuration with aluminum screws as well as water transfer label. This factory pair are remarkably well-preserved examples in all original condition. Original finish is intact and has a wonderful patina. The chairs are structurally sound–oval shock mounts are stable and secure. This matching set was acquired from the original owners and is dated to the late 1940s.
