A vintage “Thebes” bench designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in Berne, Indiana. The solid mahogany legs, with an x – stretcher, rests on button feet. The original fabric is most likely an original Jack Lenor Larsen design which covers a buttoned and rubber filled seat. The bench was designed in the early 1950’s, this bench is of early production and was denoted as model number 5002. The bench stands approximately 17 inches tall, 23 inches wide and 23 inches deep. It is marked on the bottom with a brass “Dunbar” tag.

Condition:GoodWear consistent with age and use. The stool is in all original condition, the stool has never been restored. The original fabric may be slightly discolored due to age, but is in amazing condition, the foam seat has disintegrated. But, the stool looks great and is still usable.
