Vintage Design
Dining table hand-made in France in the late 1700s using oak and pegged construction. The table shows beautiful patina, color and character accumulated over many years of use, and it is truly a beautiful piece. The top features three large boards with mortised and pegged large breadboards at each end. An overlay drawer is found at one end. the four square legs with mitered corners are connected with an I-stretcher that shows some signs of use and time. One leg has been restored as it can be seen from the pictures. Measuring almost 2 mt in length this is a substantial dining table that can accommodate large families get together or holiday dinners. It is a gorgeous table were beautiful memories will be made and it will add warmth, style and practicality to any home.
