Lovely vintage whitewashed silver filigree picture frame for 5″ x 7″ picture. The opening is surrounded by a ribbon motif set at a beveled angle and bordered by several embossed metal patterns inside and out. Backing is rose colored felt. Wonderful addition to picture grouping–adds texture and shine to any display! Can be displayed either horizontally or vertically and backing also has o-rings for hanging either way. Likely from the 1950s to early 1960s. No makers mark found.

Measures approximately 8 5/8 w x 6 3/4″ h x 1″ d. Opening is approximately 6 3/8″ w x 4 3/8″ h.

In great shape, some wear and minor soiling to the backing. Does not affect display or use. Please see photos for detail and condition.

Double frame: 2″ outer frame, 1″ inner. Distressed black, distressed gold w/red accent and carving detailing. Some discoloration to inside fabric material (may be linen). A lovely frame for small paintings or artwork, can hang horizontally or vertically. Approximately 9.5″ x 7.5″ opening.
