1940s Dovetailed Wooden Box With Cane Accents

Red wooden box with dovetail joints and cane accents. This box is not in perfect condition. It definitely shows signs of age, wear, and let’s say a rich patina. Maybe “character” is a better word to use. The box opens and closes as it should, and does a superb job at holding items. There may have originally been a mirror on the inside lid, but it’s apparent that what was once there no longer is. Overall, I’d give this box about a 6.8 to a solid 7 on a scale to 10 for condition.
