A hard to find matching set of 4 drafting and swivelling University working stools by Dutch industrial designer Friso Kramer for Ahrend De Cirkel, designed in 1960
The black enamelled version is not easy to find and only a few universities in Holland had these black versions in use
This set was produced in 1970 and are 50 years old, they are in very good condition for their age
The height of the seat can be adjusted from lowest 42.5cm / 16.73inch to highest 62.5cm / 24.61 inch
Also the backrest can be adjusted in height and has a tilt function
Pure and functional design was the essence of Friso Kramer’s work
Please see the video that demonstrates how the chair can be adjusted and swivels.
