Vintage Design
Beautiful armchair, model ‘Karen’, designed by Arnold Madsen & Henry Schübell and produced by Bovenkamp, Netherlands 1960. Arnold Madsen was contracted by Bovenkamp in the late 1950s. He designed and helped Bovenkamp to integrate Danish influences and craftsmanship into their furniture making. The chair has an oak frame and teak armrests. The chair has been reupholstered in a fresh green fabric. The frame has retained its beautiful patina.
