Early ebonized DCM dining chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, made by Evans for Herman Miller. Molded plywood has great age, wearing its original patina handsomely. Original finish is unaltered. In excellent shape, with very clean edges. Minor oxidation from age to the chrome-finish metal frame. Comfortable and sturdy seating for dining or office. Pristine, water-transfer label on the underside. USA, 1948.
