Designed in 1957 by Eero Saarinen, this table was produced by Knoll shortly thereafter, dated to circa 1961 by the label un the underside, making this one of the earliest tables out there. The top is finished in the classic smooth white architectural laminate, which is adhered to a wooden mounting plate, which serves as a mounting point to the base. It screws onto a single threaded rod. The base is of the very desirable cast iron.
The base is in pictured condition, but will be restored in any color of your choice upon purchase. The top has a nearly invisible scratch on the top, and age appropriate marks to the knife edge. This is very much a piece of history.
