Model JH501 oak dining chair with cane seat, designed by Hans J. Wegner for Johannes Hansen, Denmark. This iconic Danish modern design is best known as “The Chair.” Elegant curvilinear frame supports a finely woven cane seat. Cane wrapped back is a wonderful contrasting detail. Chairs are in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Multiple quantities are available to make a matching set. Marked on underside with the manufacturer’s stamp, 1950s.
