Offered is a vintage Mid 20th Century handmade Cherry wood box labeled CSS (or, perhaps SCS?) on the bottom, and it also has etched initials “E. D. F.”

Oval in shape, it is a stellar example of American Studio Movement craftsmanship – lathed, simple in shape, and austere – and contains two unusually shaped and asymmetrical carved trinket and jewelry holders when the cover is lifted – ideal for rings, or cufflinks and tie clips.

The box measures 12.25″ x 4.25″ x 2.75″ and the inner compartments measure approximately 5.5″ x 4″ x 0.875″ and 5″ x 3.75″ x 0.875″.
