Vintage Design
Pair of Vintage Armchairs By Karel Kozelka and Antonin Kropacek A beautiful and elegant set of armchairs designed by Karol Koželka and Antonín Kropáček in the Czech Republic in the 1940s. They are similar in style to Halabala chairs. The legs of the armchairs are made of curved bentwood with a beautiful finish. The seats have new hessian webbing and the seat covers are in their original fabric which has minimal wear and markings. The armchairs are solid, with a unique style and design and would make a great mid-century design statement in any room. Dimensions: Height: 67cm (approx seat height 38cm front and 34cm back) Width: 65cm Depth: 83cm Origin: Czech Republic Circa: 1940s Workshop Report: Good structural frame condition. Wear to the wooden arms in the usual places, arms waxed for protection. The seat covers would benefit from being recovered but it depends on the look required. As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
