Vintage Design
Armchairs by Ate Van Apeldoorn (Netherlands), in solid oak and original seat in cowhide with patterned skin.
Very elegant and typical of Scandinavian work, they have very beautiful socket details, with a very singular graphic line.
Very organic in style with simple, functional shapes, Van Apeldoorn’s furniture was often constructed with traditional wooden joints such as mortise tenons, without the use of nails or screws.
Completely removable, of great ingenuity.
Some defects in the wood, traces of small old moldings on the base, fully treated furniture.
