Set of 2 “Superleggera” cane seat dining chairs by Giò Ponti for Cassina 1951.
In contrast to the Leggera, these chairs feature a triangular section, which gives them a very delicate and sleek appearance.
The chairs are crafted from black lacquered ashwood and feature a delicately weaved cane seat, which is the most desirable version of this chair.
The chairs in our set date back to the 1970s and are in excellent condition.
Two chairs bear the Cassina label. The cane seats have been professionally restored to original specifications.
We have another set of Superleggeras in stock, dating from the 1970s, which are also in excellent condition.
