Vintage Design
This stackable chair, model “Obo Formsitz 64.09”, was designed and manufactured by the West German brand Casala in the 1960s. The design is reminiscent of Pagholz’s classic style and bears similarities to Arne Jacobsen’s iconic chairs for Fritz Hansen. The seats and backrests are made of elegantly curved Pagwood with a thin layer of plastic, while the skid legs are made of chrome-plated tubular steel. Each chair impresses with its unique wood grain.
These versatile chairs are perfect for residential and commercial spaces including cafes, bars, bistros, restaurants, coworking spaces, waiting rooms and conference rooms.
