Walnut Corner Wall Unit by Poul Cadovius for Cado, Denmark, 1960s

A modular Danish corner wall unit from the 1960s is a rare example of Danish furniture design. Manufactured in Denmark, validated by the engraving inscription Made in Denmark, designed by Poul Cadovius and made by Cado (the imprint can be found on the shelves).

The shelves are spaced at 40 cm intervals, finished in rich walnut veneer, and assembled to special, solid wood black rails. The system of pegs allows for the joining of shelves on one corner surface. Straight lines, pretty-grained wood, quality craftsmanship, and a modular hanging system enhance the characteristic style of the Scandinavian design. 

It features six shelves pegged with rails, allowing you to create a perfect place for a home office or beautiful lounge. This corner shelving system is entirely modular, and you can easily adjust the height as needed using regularly spaced slots in the rails.

The wall unit consists of the set:
6 x pegged shelves 82 cm deep and 115 cm long
3 x rails 230 cm long
2 x thin corner jointed rail 

It is fully renovated and in excellent condition, with almost no signs of use. Our team has checked the desk thoroughly. All components fit together. Occasionally, we sand down the most used parts (if they are scratched). We have only rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil and other professional compounds. All shelves have been checked and cleaned.
