First generation Eames rope-edge swivel base armchair.<\/p>\n

Manufactured only for a very short period in the late 1940s by Zenith. This chair is a true collector’s item with less than a handful currently on the market for sale. The light yellow \/ parchment color has a very visible fiber and rope-edge. Zenith checkerboard logo completely intact.<\/p>\n

The dowel base is completely original, untouched, no damages or repairs, no screws have been replaced. The base reads “Seng Chicago” after the company producing these swivel bases.<\/p>\n

Origination: United States, 1940s<\/p>\n

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Chair and base have been left completely untouched, no damages or repairs. Some light paint marks as pictured, can be cleaned off if necessary.<\/p>\n
