Collectible Vintage Pair of Executive Armchairs by Eero Saarinen for Knoll.<\/p>\n

Eero Saarinen designed furniture as a means to problem-solve. Each of his works had a distinct vocabulary of form, startlingly different from the other. The Model 71 and 72 Chairs – now known as the Saarinen Executive Chairs – were, like many of Eero’s designs, a unique expression that solved for material and form in an exciting era of technological advancement.
\nCreated by Eero Saarinen between the years 1946 to 1950 for luxury furniture manufacturer Knoll. The Saarinen Executive chair was featured in nearly all of Florence Knoll-designed interiors. One of Knoll’s most popular designs for nearly 70 years this chair is available with or without arms and with tubular or wood legs. <\/p>\n

This iconic design piece has been completely restored from the frame and special bentwood legs to a complete new upholstery. Restoration performed in 2023.<\/p>\n

Such pieces need to be carefully restored with the best materials and all the care and expertise only Greenapple can lend to a piece of Design History to bring it back to it’s former glory for the future generations to enjoy.<\/p>\n

This model is upholstered with two fabrics: Meteorite Crème – Métaphores on the inside and Donghia Nyc – Cream on the outside.<\/p>\n
