Gloria had a Master of Arts degree from the Art Institute of San Francisco. She also earned a California teaching credential for adult education in 1977. She worked mainly in oils and ceramics. She exhibited with many of the most notable painters of the Bay Area Figurative Movement, Elmer Bischoff, David Park, Frank Lobdell, etc.
