A stunning combination of an iconic design this vintage 1970’s Eames lounge chair and ottoman is in Rosewood with white leather. It was purchased in the mid 1970’s and bears the first Herman Miller strip label which was in use from around 1970 to 1984 I believe. The chair is in remarkably good condition for it’s age and while it has a few blemishes is quite lovely. The rosewood graining is simply beautiful. There is a spot on the back of the top panel, like a lighter blotch, not sure what caused it. There are also a couple of very small retouched chips to the edge of the ottoman. The leather is in good supple condition with some very minor discoloration. Most notably to a button or two. Please see the detailed photos. Both pieces bear the strip label.
A beautiful set in good vintage condition considering it’s almost 50 years old.
Ottoman is 26×22 inches in dimension. Approximately 16 1/2 inches tall.
