1980s Ethan Allen Oak Chippendale Style Side Chair

Made for the dining room by Ethan Allen for both its Royal Charter and Canterbury Oak collections, this country Chippendale style oak side chair features EA’s #240 “Coventry” finish – a reddish brown color with a soft glow. The seat was professionally reupholstered in 2018 in a blue, tan and off white plaid fabric. The slip seat removes easily to receive the new fabric of your choice. Purchased new in the 1980s, this one-owner chair has seen regular use at the desk in a home office/library. EA’s Royal Charter and Canterbury Oak collections feature factory-applied distressing to resemble the appearance of handmade English antiques. Additional blemishes from household use just blend in.
