19th century scandinavian burr walnut chest of drawers circa 1880. fine quality walnut and burr walnut chest of drawers from sweden. 4 drawers of equal proportions, finished in bookmark burr walnut, which gives a stunning appearance. with most swedish chests there are no handles and the drawers open on the key. main body finished in standard walnut with a deep rich colour. all raised on 4 block feet. deep drawers offer plenty of storage. recently re-polished in our workshop. historical restoration to sides and top surface and around key holes. minor surface marks to woodwork.
