Vintage Design
Vintage Red and blue chair armchair by Dutch designer Gerrit Rietveld. Edition since 1973 by the Italian publisher Cassina Stamped on the structure with the publisher’s mark and the serial number, also present in the certificate of authenticity. Gerrit Rietveld designed it in 1918. This armchair is part of the Dutch De Stijl movement, rigorous abstraction of lines and colors. Functional and rational design. The Red and blue chair has been a design icon for over 100 years. The structure is in black-stained solid beech, the ends are yellow lacquered. The seat and back are made of resistant multiple birch lacquered in red and yellow polyester. Excellent condition. Dimensions in cm: Width 65.5 Length 83 height 88 Seat 33.
